We are located in Akron, Ohio within Summit County. It is our goal and dedication here at Highland Labradors to produce Quality AKC registered companions for all your family needs. Our English style lines descend from champions threw out their bloodlines. Our dog’s personalities display low-key temperaments, intelligence, an eagerness to please, with an obedient spirit. Their attitudes make for easy training and wonderful companionship. You can see in the appearance of our English Lab's; the athletic build with heavy bone structure, blocky (sculpted) head's along with genetic soundness and beautiful coats. All of our adult parents are tested for the following: OFA Hips and Elbows, Optigen/Eyes, CNM and EIC. Our puppy's come with a written health guarantee, microchip for identification and their Dew claws are removed. The puppy's are wormed and have had their initial inoculations as well as a physical from our vet. To secure your puppy, requires a Non-Refundable deposit in the amount of $400 dollars. Please know that we reserve the right of First Pick of each litter. The first customer to our kennel to choose a gender specific puppy will have first choice,(exceptions are made for out of state clients) not the first deposit. NOTE: For international or out of state customers that can not visit to pick out a puppy simply let us know what you desire and we will pick your puppy for you, because we want you and your family to receive the puppy that you desire. At this time we have litter colors in Chocolate, Yellow and Black . The Yellow color's range from Cream, to FOX RED. Each member of our lab family shows their own distinct personality which sets them apart from each other, but each one of them shows the most defining driven characteristic of all, to be number one by your side with absolute unconditional love and loyalty. That is why they are the number one dog in America! Labradors assume many positions and titles as: Your Best Friend within your family, a Rescue Dog in life threatening emergencies, a Therapy Dog for those sick and in need of healing, a Law Enforcement Officer/DEA agent to keep the peace and drugs off the streets, a Brother in arms i.e. Bomb dog for (EOD/IED) serving abroad in the Department of Defense and let us not forget that our Labrador Retriever is our hunting buddy. He fetch's our ducks and geese in ice cold water. Good Boy! And if you want to show them off in the show ring they will do that too. Our labs are raised in a loving home and socialized to interact with other pets and children. Our puppies are ready to be viewed here at our kennel at 4 weeks of age by appointment only.
